Mckellar Construction is a commercial consultancy looking to assist many within the Construction sector with the delivery of a mixture of different projects. With a history of working for Residential Clients, Subcontractors and Commercial Clients, we can offer our clients a bespoke package to meet their individual needs.


Estimating & Tendering


  • If you need a quotation put together for a client or a viability for the purchase of a site we are here to help and can provide our clients with the following services
  • Full takeoffs and preparation of bills of quantities, pricing documents and quotations.
  • We have software available to carry out full take offs from PDF plans, creating marked up drawings for the client to know exactly what has been priced for.
  • Attending meetings with and on behalf of our clients throughout the process.


Procurement


  • We can produce tender documents for projects and manage this process from issue of tender through to placing an order for the works to commence. We have an extensive network of contractors we can also draw upon to aid the clients supply chain.
  • Tender Analysis
  • Negotiation of quotations
  • Selection of Contractors or supplies and agreeing orders for works to be carried out
  • We can produce an order for the client to use to engage all of the contractors they use for the development, we will also liaise with the client to draw up terms and conditions to accompany these orders. 


Subcontracting


  • We can carry out take offs, complete tender returns and aid with compiling a competitive quotation to carry out the works. We will review all tender documentation, compile an RFI list if required to submit to the client and ensure your quotation fulfils the scope of works.
  • Liaising with your clients if required, answering queries and assisting to secure the works packages
  • We can also offer a full service from receipt of order, completing monthly valuations and assisting with quotations for variations through to preparation and agreement of your final account.
  • Our services can be tailored to meet your needs, if you need templates for valuations, variations etc, we can design and implemented new forms and procedures to aid you in completing successful contracts


Project Commercial Management


  • Producing valuations for submission to clients
